I’m Arcane-Jerome, a visual artist based in London. over the last decade I have dedicated myself to learning how to draw, paint, create digital imagery, and understand communication through image making.

After studying Games Art at The University of Northampton and feeling unsatisfied with my lack of technical ability I began exploring other avenues with the visual arts.

I took up portraiture, studied master draughtsman and mangaka; learning techniques of old and new. After some I employed my feelings into my works creating a series of images that allowed me to receive a scholarship to attend the Royal Drawing School. It was that my mind was really opened to the idea of what image-making really is and the various way you can communicate feeling and ideas.

 

Since then I have continue to stretch my creative reach. researching various topics such as music, spirituality, contemporary cultures, fine art, games and fashion. The added awareness have diversified my material usage, rooting my artistry in confidence and playfulness.
